3D Artist (Modeler)

MAYA (versions 6.5 to 2008)

3D Modeling

Advanced in Polygon Modeling (Advanced for High and Low Polygon)
Intermediary in NURBS Modeling (for nCLoth/Cloth)
Can model any object, environment scenery (exterior or interior), organic modeling, character modeling, robots and cars; basically anything in low, medium and high poly.

Ps: Also intermediary with 3D Studio Max modeling.

UV Mapping and Textures

UV Mapping, UV manipulation, cut, sew edges, 512 or 1024 UV/Texture arrangement for games, cylindrical, planar and spherical UV projection (Advanced).
Creation of textures by 2D hand painting using Adobe Photoshop (Wacom).
Creation of textures with ZBrush (Displacement Maps and Normal Maps). Inport and export UV sets from ZBrush to Maya and reverse, great workflow.
Basic Knowledge of Maya Shading Networks and Nodes.
Bump Mappings and Displacements.
Baking Textures for games.
Basics of Unwrapping High Poly UVs using the UV Unwrap software.

Ps: Also know the basics to work with UV’s and materials in 3DSMax (prior experience with Text Porter (third party 3DS Plug-in)).

Character Rigging

Rigging Characters by building a basic Skeleton using Forward and Inverse Kinematics techniques, set driven keys, locators and special attributes like (open and close hands, twist wrists by using an extra bone/elbow and so on).

Ps: Also know the basics to prepare and setup a Biped in 3DSMax. (very basic)

Animation

Basics of environmental 3D Animation and special effects (very basic)
Basics of Character rigging, preparation, and Animation (very basic)
Basics of Cloth, Hair, Dynamics, Smoke, Explosions and Fire.

Ps: Also know the basics for animation and character (biped) rigging in 3DSMax. (very basic)

ZBrush (versions 2 to 3)

Can model, add details and paint textures mostly for 3D characters and organic things. Great import & export workflow between Maya and ZBrush to generate displacement and normal maps (with the UVs built in Maya).

Adobe Photoshop (version 7 to CS3)

Basically all the necessary intermediary & advanced skills used in Websites and 3D Art. Examples: 2D Painting, Texture Painting, Image Production and general Photo editing.

Bonus +

Adobe After Effects & Adobe Premiere

Video editing, broadcasting animations, post-production, multi pass workflow, compositions and special effects. Completed a 26 hours course about Adobe After Effects (Total Training DVD). Check my  animations.

Adobe Flash

Publishing animations and videos on the web (.SWF and .FLV).
Basic understanding of flash animations and effects: shapes, layers, motion tween, symbols, vectors, masking, instances, sound and movies.

Audio - Adobe Audigy

Experienced editing and working with sound effects. Noise reduction profiles and others. Check my sound sample.

CSS & HTML & Dreamweaver CS3
